Expressing anger against the state government, a fury march was taken out from Ludhiana bus stand on Tuesday. This was done during a joint rage rally of Punjab Roadways Action Committee and Punbus Contract Workers Union. The employees warned that if the government did not comply with their demands in time, they would intensify the struggle. The protesters demanded that Punjab Roadways / Punbus should not be merged with the corporation. A fleet of 2407 buses of Roadways should be completed. Punbus employees should be paved in roadways and the fleet should be completed by merging Punbus in roadways. The operation of illegal buses should be stopped.
