An employee of Woolen Mill in Ludhiana was killed under suspicious circumstances. On Tuesday, he was supposed to go to his home in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, but before that, on Monday afternoon, he suddenly went missing. Sunny’s blood-stained corpse was found in an empty plot on Tuesday. It is feared that he was killed with a sharp weapon. The investigation of the case has started by sending the body for postmortem.
The deceased has been identified as Gurnam Nagar resident Uday Bhan (55). He was originally a resident of Pipra Dawood village of Dayama Paghoj police station in Deoria (Uttar Pradesh). Here he was a helper for the last 15 years at the Woolen Mill at Bhattiyan Island. His wife and daughter live in the village. Neighboring laborers said that on Tuesday he was going to the village to meet the family. He had packed his things by shopping on Sunday and Monday, but he suddenly disappeared after 4:30 pm on Monday. At around 7 am on Tuesday, a passerby saw the body in an empty plot near Best Price and informed the police control room.
