SSP Rajbachan Singh in a press conference at Phagwara said that one Darshan Kumar Bhalla In a complaint to police stated that his brother Krishan Kumar Bhalla who was running diesel engine spare part Shop existing on Railway Road was missing from his shop and his neighbour when entered his cabin and saw that Krishan Kumar Bhalla was lying on
the Ground and his body was laying in pool of blood .He saw that somebody has brutally cut his neck partly from both sides and the blood was spread over the ground. Immediately
the Shopkeeper rushed to his brother Darshan Kumar Bhalla and told him about the
murder of his brother Krishan Kumar Bhalla. On the statement of Darshan police registered a murder case .
In order to trace the blind murder the SSP Kapurthala has constituted various teams under the supervision of Jagjeet Singh Saroya , PPS, SP(D), Harinder Singh Parmar, where they got secret information that deceased
Krishan Kumar Bhalla had a dispute with Satish Kumar on the matter of a diesel
generator.
In the course of investigation and secret report it has come into light that
Satish kumar son of Jailla Ram residence Lambi Gali Plahi Gate Phagwara had hired
a diesel generator from Banga who further sold it to deceased Karishan Kumar
Bhalla at the rate of Rs 13,500/-. Thereafter, the deceased Krihsan Kumar Bhalla had
further sold it to somebody at the rate of Rs 24,000/-. But now Satish kumar was
demanding back his diesel generator because the deceased Krishan Kumar Bhalla
had bought this diesel generator on cheap rate but he sold it out on higher rate.
On May4, Satish Kumar came to the shop of Krishan Kumar Bhalla, where they both had a heated exchange and accused Satish Kumar dragged him
to the rear cabin and stabbed on his neck brutally from front and rear, where the
victim died on the spot. On having obtained secret and technical information
that the accused named Satish Kumar who is present at Bholarai Chawnk Phagwara.
Rapid Police teams raided over the accused and arrested him from the Bholarai Chawk. During the interrogation the said accused confessed that he murder Ed Krishan Kumar Bhalla by stabbing him with sharp knife on his neck.
He had thrown away the Knife into the bushes after having wrapped it into his T-
shirt while coming back. The recovery of Knife and T-shirt has been made on the demarcation of the accused named Satish Kumar.
