Kapurthala: Major road accident, six workers killed, three injured in a truck collision

Kapurthala, October 21

Six people died in a road accident in Kapurthala, Punjab. The truck hit a vehicle late Tuesday night near the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) at Hussainpur on Sultanpur Road. Six people died in the vehicle, while three were injured. The police have taken both the vehicles. Three of the dead belong to the same family, while the mother and daughter also lost their lives.
According to the information, some laborers went to work with their children in the village Sidhwan Donan. Late in the night, they were returning from their vehicle with a motorcycle pair in front of Rehri in their slums near village Bhulana. On the way, the truck hit their vehicle.
In this, Upinder Mandal (35), his wife Billo Devi (30), daughter Sajan Kumari (7), Sanjeev Kumar (18) son Surinder Mandal, Reena Devi (24) wife Danveer and his daughter Karishma (two and a half years) died. . At the same time, Upinder Mandal’s daughter Shanti (6), son Subhan (8) and Salinder (10) son Danveer were injured. Police is investigating the case.
