The district administration today supplied 104323 litres of milk and 5825 quintal vegetables and fruits to people.
Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma, teams of Milkfed and Food and Civil Supply departments were providing these essentials in every area of the district amid the curfew.
As per the details on Tuesday, the teams of Milkfed delivered around 104323-litres of milk to the people of the district besides, 875-kg Cheese, 8900-kg curd, 8616-litre lassi, and 388-kg kheer through the authorized dealers in every locality.
The teams of Mandi Board led by DMO Davinder Singh Kainth also ensured the supply of 5825 quintal vegetables and fruits to the people.
Further, the teams led by District Food and Civil Supply Controller Narinder Singh were providing grocery and other products to the people.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the district administration was leaving no stone unturned to ensure that people could not face any problem in availing the essential commodities.
