- Health check-up of pregnant women for safe delivery under the Prime Minister’s Safe Maternity Campaign.
Under the guidance of Dr. Gurinderbir Kaur, Civil Surgeon, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, under the able guidance of Dr. Gitanjali Singh, Senior Medical Officer, Mini Ph.D. The Prime Minister’s Safe Maternity Campaign (PMSMA) at Jadla today provided much-needed free ANCs to pregnant women. Checked.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. Gitanjali Singh said that the health department was committed to provide better health services to the people and under this link Mini PHC. The Prime Minister’s Safe Motherhood Campaign (PMSMA) at Jadla today took the initiative to ensure safe delivery of women by giving iron tablets after screening more than 30 pregnant women.
SMO Dr. Gitanjali Singh said that the Prime Minister’s Safe Motherhood Campaign has played an important role in reducing maternal and child mortality. The campaign was launched across the country on June 9, 2016, under which every government institution in the block is examined by specialist doctors on every 9th of the month, especially for safe delivery of pregnant women. The Prime Minister’s Safe Maternity Campaign launched by the Health Department for the protection of needy and pregnant women is proving to be beneficial for the needy pregnant women of the block. Under this program thousands of pregnant women in the block have so far benefited.
Dr. Singh directed the needy people of the block through Government Hospital, Mini PHC. Jadla and Mini Ph.D. Arriving at Bharat Khurd, he appealed to the people to make the most of the free facilities being provided by the health department. Raising awareness among pregnant women for the safety and security of pregnant women and children. Gitanjali Singh said that delivery should never be done by an uneducated person as doing so could endanger the lives of both the woman and the child. It is important to have a trained health care worker present at every delivery, as they can help reduce maternal and child mortality through an effective referral system.
He said that for safe delivery of pregnant women, health check-ups by specialist doctors in government hospitals should be ensured.
On this occasion, Dr. Sonia conducted necessary prenatal check-ups, counseling and free tests for many pregnant women. He said that under this campaign pregnant women are tested free of cost in all government health centers and hospitals during 3 months to 6 months of pregnancy and all the tests like blood, blood pressure and sugar of pregnant women are done free of cost and Medicines are also provided free of cost as required to ensure the safety of pregnant women.
