Strongly condemning Punjab Health and Medical Education Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra’s behavior, Indian Medical Association (IMA) Chandigarh said all the doctors are deeply hurt and extremely upset over the misbehavior of the Health Minister.
“Prof. Raj Bahadur is a highly respected Orthopedic surgeon who is known nationally and internationally. His career spans over five decades and all can vouch for his commitment to the Medical profession and his integrity.
All the doctors are deeply hurt and extremely upset over the misbehavior of the Health Minister,” the IMA Chandigarh stated.
“Any deficiencies and improvement thereupon in the health delivery system have to be a joint responsibility. If such is the behavior of lawmakers then the medical fraternity won’t be able to help patients get better medical facilities. We call upon the Chief Minister of Punjab to take the appropriate action and ask the Health Minister to apologize to restore our faith in our political system,” said Dr. Ramneek Sharna President IMA, Chandigarh.
