Giving information about the status of COVID-19 in the district Hoshiarpur, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jasvir Singh said that today 57 new samples have been taken of the people who came in contact with positive patients. He said that 1651 samples have been taken so far, out of which 1380 samples have come negative and reports of 149 samples are yet to come. He said that 26 invalid samples have been found so far and 96 coronavirus positive patients have been reported in the district.
The civil surgeon said that according to the instructions of the health department, it is necessary for every person who goes out of the house for the necessary work to apply a mask on the mouth and if anyone does not follow it, he/she will be fined Rs 200. He said that according to the instructions of the government, people spitting in public places will be fined Rs 100.
