Taking a review of the state of Covid in the district, Special Secretary of Health Department Amit Kumar said that the Health Department is very serious to stop the growing cases of Kovid. In the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amit Kumar Panchal at the District Administrative Complex today, he was monitoring the progress of work of e-cards being made under Kovid Sampling, Vaccination and Sarbat Health Insurance Scheme. During this, he instructed health officials to increase sampling as well as speed up contact tracing.
The special secretary said that to prevent the spread of Covid, identification and hundred percent testing of the people exposed to patients is very important. Appealing to the residents, he said that there is no need to panic with the coronavirus but it can be avoided by taking precautions given by the health department. He asked the district residents to follow the precautions like adopting social distance, wearing masks, and washing hands from time to time. He appealed to the people to refrain from visiting crowded places.
Amit Kumar said that while expressing satisfaction over the work of Covid Vaccination in the district, it is said that the vaccination of health and frontline workers in the district is being done properly. He said that covid vaccination is completely safe. During this, he directed to accelerate the creation of e-cards of Sarbat Health Insurance Scheme and said that no beneficiary should be deprived of this scheme of the government.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amit Kumar Panchal gave detailed information about the status of Kovid in the district and the actions taken for its prevention. He said that vaccination work is going on smoothly in the district. He said that the work of making e-cards of Sarbat Health Insurance Scheme is in progress and e-cards are being made in 11 service centers, common service centers, civil hospitals in the district. At the same time, the work of making e-health cards is also going on by setting up camps at different places on behalf of the Videal company.
