Haryana Government Declaration: 18 to 50 years old BPL and poor people will be covered

The Haryana government has decided to provide insurance cover to BPL and poor families due to the Corona epidemic. More than 50 lakh people will have insurance of two lakh rupees. This facility will be applicable in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana. The state government will bear a premium of Rs 330 per year for this scheme.  All these individuals will have to submit the form to the banks. These application forms will be connected with Jan Dhan’s accounts. CM Manohar Lal said that the scheme is already in force, but very few people paid its premium.  Government will pay the premium amount, but the condition will be that the first installment money will have to be kept in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.  After deducting the insurance premium amount, the government will refund the amount to the bank accounts. The benefit of the scheme will be given to the citizens in the age group of 18 to 50 years. Keeping aside everything the families with income below 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees and fifteen thousand rupees monthly will be covered in the scheme. The insurance company will give two lakh rupees to the kin of the deceased if they become known due to corona infection, road accident, accident, or any other reason. Planning started on March 1.  For this, forms will be filled by 31 May.900 BPL and poor people have lost their lives from Kovid-19 since March 1. The government will give 2-2 lakh rupees to all these dependents. CM has appealed that he must go to the banks and fill the form.
