Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar admitted to Medanta Hospital Gurgaon, two more MLA’s test positive for coronavirus

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who was tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. Also, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that two MLAs have been tested positive for the virus. Yesterday, in a tweet, the Chief Minister informed that he was tested positive for coronavirus.

He also appealed to the people who came in contact with him in last few days to quarantine themselves. Also, Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta had tested positive for the virus on Monday.

It is to be noted that the Assembly sessions are scheduled to start from August 26. As per the reports, Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa will preside over the session. The reports suggest that it is compulsory for all the MLAs of the Haryana Assembly, including Speaker, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and ministers to get COVID tests; only those who turn out negative are allowed to attend the session.
