Govt. has not paid female teachers of women ITI, Pathankot for the last 26 months

Women teachers of Women ITI at Mission Road, Pathankot have not been paid by the government for the last 26 months. Even during Covid-19, the government has made these women teachers work but they have not been paid. For the last 26 months, the teacher has been continuously coming to teach in the female ITI. The rest of the office work of the ITI is also done by them but the salary is not paid.

These female teacher comes to work daily in the hope that today or tomorrow salary will be paid. They have appealed to many officers about this many times but no result has come out. These teachers were hired by the government under PPP scheme but now for the last 26 months these teachers have been paid by the government. These teachers say that there are many more ITIs in Punjab like them in which the teachers have not been paid for the last 26 months.

The economic condition of the house has deteriorated considerably. They are requesting the government to release their salary as soon as possible so that they can return to their work as usual.
