Former general secretary of Youth Congress, senior Akali leader and former administrative officer joined AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have got a big boost on Friday, when Dinesh Dhal, former general secretary of Youth Congress Punjab, Amit Ratan, eminent social worker and former senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal and DPS Walia, younger brother of former MP Charanjit Singh Walia and former Punjab Administrative Service Officer, joined the party. All the leaders joined AAP in the presence of Raghav Chadha, co-in-charge Punjab affairs, MLA Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer and senior AAP leader Hargobind Singh Bagga.

 Dinesh Dhal has been associated with the Congress for a long time. He was General Secretary of Punjab Youth Congress and played an important role in assembly as well as general elections. Amit Ratan is a prominent social worker, who has been doing social welfare in Patiala and Bathinda through his NGO. He had also been the Joint Secretary of the SC Wing of Shiromani Akali Dal. And DPS Walia is a former Development Commissioner and has worked in many departments of Punjab Government. All the leaders joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with their dozens of colleagues and allies.

Welcoming all the leaders Raghav Chadha said that everyone who has the best interest of Punjab at their heart is welcomed to AAP. The day-by-day increasing convoy of Aam Aadmi Party is a proof that the people of Punjab are determined to elect an honest and stable government in the form of AAP to make Punjab peaceful and prosperous once again.
