Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Smt. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu informed that PSRLM Under the scheme groups of poor women have been formed in District Mansa and given various jobs to do their work. He said that in this series today 7 women of the district were distributed biometric machines so that they could run their own business by opening Common Service Centers in the villages and raise the standard of living of themselves and their families. Giving more information in this regard, he said that such poor women would be given machines in future also. He said that with the opening of Common Service Centers in the villages, the rural people would also get the facility in the village itself and they would not have to travel around the cities, which would save their valuable income and time would not be wasted.
