Electricity bills to be paid from 9 am to 2 pm: District Magistrate

As per the instructions issued by the Power Department of the Punjab Government in the continuation of the curfew issued to curb the spread of the Corona epidemic in the district from March 23, 2020, District Magistrate Faridkot Kumar Saurabh Raj IAS has issued some rules for electricity bill payment. PSPCL has been approved to open with daily conditions for paying electricity bills.

The District Magistrate informed that the PSPCL has been asked to pay the electricity bill. The Cash Collector Counters of Punjab will be open from 9 am to 2 pm from

Monday to Friday. He said that he would ensure the wearing of a mask and gloves while reading the meter. He said that only the identity card issued by the department would be considered as curfew pass. Police personnel has been allotted at the billing counters who can control the people from crowding the place.

As per the orders issued, Axion Power Boards would ensure that the social distance between the employees/officers is 1 meter to 1.50 meters during the work and all the staff should wear masks and gloves and use sanitizer.
