Education Department Punjab under the guidance of Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla and Education Secretary Krishan Kumar has launched a unique initiative to inculcate a scientific outlook in the students under the ‘National Innovation Campaign’ from November 23 to 28. Science exhibitions are being organized online / offline at block, district and state level. Disclosing this here today District Education Officer (Sec) Mr. Virinder Parasar said that cash prizes would be given to the winners of these exhibitions at different levels.
D.E.O. Mr. Virinder Parasar said that this science exhibition was being organized at the block level for the students of class VI to VIII on November 23 and for the students of class IX to X on November 24. The first place winner at the block level would be awarded Rs. 1500, second place winner Rs. 1000 and third place winner Rs. 500. At the district level this exhibition is being organized for the students of class VI to VIII on November 25 and for the students of class IX to X on November 26. A prize money of Rs.2100 would be given to the first place winner, Rs.1500 to the second place winner and Rs.1000 to the third place student in the district level science exhibition. At the state level, the exhibition would be organized on November 27 for the students of class VI to VIII and on November 28 for the students of class IX to X.
