Economic crisis over Panjab University due to anti education policies by Capt claims Harpal Cheema

The Universities of Punjab, which are going through economic slowdown due to the anti-education policies of Punjab Government, are a matter of great concern. It is from these Universities that the youth of Punjab have to pursue higher education and guide the state correctly. Intellectuals, scientists are to be born from here. Who has to take Punjab towards progress. These views were revealed in a statement issued from the Headquarters of the Aam Aadmi Party, Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema and MLA from Talwandi Sabo.


The leaders said that the resignation of the vice-chancellor of Punjabi University, fed up with the policies of the government in the past, proves that the Captain Government is not paying attention to the academic principles. He said that Punjabi University, Patiala is one of the two universities in the world which is established on the basis of a language. He said that Punjabi University did a very commendable job for the Punjabi dialect of our teachers and now in the technical age Punjabi language is doing important work. He said that it is very sad that Punjabi University, which became a pride for our Punjabis, is not being taken care of in the district of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and from where his wife Praneet Kaur is MP.
