E-cards of 1,46000, issued under Sarbat Health Insurance Scheme

 Under the guidelines of Aayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana, e-cards of around 1 lakh 46 thousand beneficiaries of the district have been issued so far and the remaining beneficiaries Cards will also be created soon. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Mohinder Pal during a review meeting held with the top officials of the district today to review the progress of the cards being made under the Sarbatt Health Insurance Scheme.

Instructing the SDMs of the three sub-divisions, the Deputy Commissioner said that the cards issued under Sarbatt Bima Yojna should be expedited and the beneficiaries should be encouraged to make the cards.

The Deputy Commissioner said that a special campaign has been launched for one week till February 28, 2021, to create 100% e-cards of the beneficiaries under the Sarbatt Health Insurance Scheme. He appealed to the beneficiaries to take advantage of this scheme and get their e-cards made. He said that the eligible beneficiaries can get their e-card at the nearest Common Service Center (CSC), Seva Kendra or Market with the required documents.

Mohinder Pal said that the list of centers in the district and to check their eligibility can be checked by visiting the website www.sha.punjab.gov.in . He said that the fee for making a card is Rs. 30 per card. He said that under this scheme smart ration card family (smart ration card should be made by June 2020), farmers (J-Farm and sugarcane weighing slip holder, registered with Punjab Mandi Board by 05 August 2020), construction workers (with construction welfare board) Registered), Small Traders (Registered with Excise and Taxation Department and less than Rs. 1 crore per annum), Accredited and Yellow Card Holder Journalist, N.E.C. Data 2011 includes families involved.

 Mohinder Pal informed that for making the card, the beneficiary has to have Aadhar Card, Family Identity Card, Ration Card (if not Ration Card, then Family Declaration Form signed and stamped by the Sarpanch or Municipal Councilor) and Construction Work Registration Card ( (If it contains family information).
