District Red Cross Branch distributes tricycles to needy Divyangs people in Mohali

Manisha Rana, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, under training, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan, at District Administrative Complex,  Jugal Kishore, Village Mubarikpur, Tehsil Zirakpur and  Balkar Singh, Village Pragpur, Dera Bassi individuals were given tricycles.
Speaking on the occasion, Manisha Rana said that the district Red Cross branch was always ready to help the poor and needy. The general public is being sensitized to avoid Covid-19 and from time to time masks, sanitizers, goblins, hand soap bars are being distributed.
On this occasion, Kamlesh Kumar, Secretary, District Red Cross informed that the Red Cross Branch is a relief organization that serves humanity in times of need. District Red Cross Branch in association with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India Kurali Prosthetic limbs, tricycles, hearing aids, wheelchairs, etc. are provided free of cost to the disabled.
Therefore, the people are urged to contact the District Red Cross Branch Office if there is any deaf person who is deaf or hard of hearing and has no fixed source of income.
