DC Mansa: Fogging is being carried out in the district to eradicate dengue and malaria mosquitoes

In connection with Dengue Prevention and Covid-19, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mohinder Pal held an urgent meeting with the top officials of the district and officials of the Health Department at the local Bachat Bhawan. On this occasion he said that fogging was being carried out continuously in the district. He directed the Health Department and the Municipal Council to expedite the drive to eradicate dengue larvae and complete the process by forming teams at all places.

The Deputy Commissioner said that both malaria and dengue are serious diseases and these mosquitoes breed in clean water. He said that malaria mosquito bites at night and dengue mosquito bites during the day. He directed that the people should be made aware of the symptoms of malaria and dengue fever and what precautions should be taken to prevent them.

He also appealed to the people to keep their surroundings clean and not allow standing water. He said that daily sampling should be done to prevent the spread of the virus so that the positive person could be detected in time and he could be isolated at home. He directed the teams of the health department to collect as many samples of corona as possible and send daily reports.
