‘Covid vaccine’ will help win over corona: Civil Surgeon Gurdeep Singh Kapoor

As per the directions of Civil Surgeon, Dr. Gurdeep Singh Kapoor, the Health Department has launched an Intensive Vaccination Campaign to defeat the deadly virus like Corona and achieve “Mission Fateh”. Under this link, in the context of World Health Day, 2539 eligible persons were vaccinated against Covid. Thus far a total of 35692 doses have been received by the eligible beneficiaries in the district, including first dose and second dose.
Civil Surgeon Dr. disclosing this here today Gurdeep Singh Kapoor said that 175 eligible persons were vaccinated in Health Block Nawanshahr, 269 in Balachaur, 633 in Muzaffarpur, 360 in Mukandpur, 594 in Sujjo, 60 in Banga and 364 in Sarwa. In addition, 84 eligible persons were vaccinated in private health institutions.
Dr. “We will continue to win the coronavirus with the Covid vaccine,” Kapoor said. The Department of Health and Family Welfare has stepped up a comprehensive awareness campaign for the prevention of covid vaccine. The anti-covid vaccination campaign against covid is now being carried out in a systematic way to motivate people to get vaccinated. Our teams are visiting immunization centers in urban and rural areas and educating the general public about covid vaccination. Misconceptions and myths related to Covid’s vaccine are being dispelled in order to make the campaign a success by satisfactorily answering people’s questions.
Dr. “Everyone over the age of 45 is eligible for the vaccine,” Kapoor said. He appealed to all eligible persons to get vaccinated as soon as possible. He said that in order to save precious human lives from the epidemic, the district was now vaccinating all the days of the week.
“Let’s all make sure that every eligible person gets the vaccine,” he added. Officials and staff of the health department are playing an important role in preventing the spread of covid and creating a healthy and safe future and the people should also give their full support in these efforts of the health department.
