Covid patient plays violin for the staff of hospital to thank them

A mid the pandemic, several heartwarming stories have managed to melt our hearts. They have given us hope to deal with everything that has been going around the world. One such video of a Covid-19 patient playing the violin to thank the hospital staff for taking care of him is going viral for all the right reasons.

The video, that has managed to recieve more than 53k views, was shared on Facebook by the official page of Intermountain Healthcare. It shows the patient, Grover Wilhelmsen thanking his caregivers at McKay-Dee Hospital. According to the healthcare centre, Grover played the violin for the staff while he was in the ICU to lift their spirits. The idea was, that though he couldn’t speak to them, as he was intubated, he could show them his appreciation through music.

According to Grover’s nurse, Ciara Sase, she learnt about the thoughtful idea while she was taking care of him. She was communicating with him on a piece of paper and got to know how much he loved music.
