Dr. Usha Kiran said that the Covid Roku Intensive Vaccination Campaign today covered various villages of the health block in which a total of 382 eligible persons above the age of 45 years were vaccinated. The government has provided free vaccination to 10 eligible beneficiaries in Dopalpur, 20 in Jadla, 50 in Ghataron, 49 in Ghujarpur, 20 in Kahlon, 60 in Bharta Khurd, 60 in Hyala, 70 in Hyala, 26 in Langaroa, 37 in Jethu Majara and 40 in Urban Rahon. Dr. Kiran said the health department was working day and night to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. He said that coronavirus was being eradicated through contact tracing and vaccine prevention. He said that the vaccination drive in the district was getting an overwhelming response. He appealed to the people to ensure that all persons above the age of 45 years get vaccinated against Kovid and encourage their family members, relatives, neighbors and all other beneficiaries for the same.
He further said that contact tracing has curbed the growing cases of corona. “The sooner we isolate the contacts of covid positives, the sooner we will be able to stop the growing cases of corona,” he said.
The senior medical officer said that the vaccine does not have any adverse effect on the body. He said that the health department was working diligently to protect the people from this epidemic and it was the duty of the people to get tested immediately on the appearance of even the slightest symptoms of the disease and also to get the covid vaccine. . He said that the work of vaccination was being carried out by the trained staff under the direct supervision of specialist doctors. He appealed to the people to get out of the house as soon as possible and to cover their faces with masks, handkerchiefs, cloths, lime, quilts etc. and keep necessary distance from each other.
