The Commissioner of Police Jalandhar Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today asked the cops deployed in Commissionerate Police to deliver their duty far more diligently and effectively, in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus crisis in the district.
Addressing the cops here at his office, the Commissioner of Police said that the Commissionerate of Police was already rendering marvelous service to the people. He said that during the war against coronavirus the cops were the frontline soldiers who performed their duty extremely well. Bhullar said that in this war against the pandemic, the police personnel have performed their duty with utmost diligence and sincerity.
The Commissioner of Police said that the Jalandhar Police Commissionerate has sent a new benchmark in the service of the people which was unprecedented and unmatched. He said that besides maintaining law and order during the curfew the cops had also given a healing touch to the masses by their exemplary work. Bhullar said that the force was bestowed a great responsibility and it was a matter of great pride and satisfaction that they discharged their duty with utmost professional dedication and commitment.
The Commissioner of Police reminded the cops that they were the flag bearers of the rich heritage of Punjab Police to overcome every challenge by combating it from the front. He exhorted the cops to uphold the glorious tradition of Punjab Police to serve the people with integrity and efficacy. Bhullar also said that the war against Corona Virus was not yet over so the force was duty-bound to perform their duty well for saving the people from the scourge of the pandemic.
