Congress leader Jagmohan Singh Kang leveled allegations against Punjab CM Charanjit Channi after he was not given a ticket from Kharar constituency.
While addressing the media, Kang alleged that his ticket had been deliberately canceled by Channi. He said that he also wrote a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi to reconsider his name for the Kharar seat.
He said that the Congress High Command was with him but Channi did not agree to declare his name from this seat.
Kang also announced that his son would contest from Kharar as an independent candidate. He further added that he would appeal to the voters not to vote for Channi.
