Chandigarh, February 28
Now celebrities should be careful in using words before making any comments on the internet. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has recommended that no words should be interpreted which may be incorrect. Actually the cricketer Yuvraj Singh was hearing that petition. In which he demanded the cancellation of the FIR lodged under SC, ST on him for making objectionable remarks. Justice Amol Rattan Singh made this remark only while hearing the case. On behalf of Yuvraj, Senior Advocate Puneet Bali appeared. In its judgment, the bench said that every person and especially celebrities should be careful in the use of their words. Which can be interpreted incorrectly. The Bench held that the 1989 Act was enacted to protect the interests of a section of society that has been considered oppressed for ages. Therefore, strict action will have to be taken to deal with the violation of any provision of this Act. However, during the hearing, Bali argued that the caste word on which the case has been filed refers to the person consuming the drug, not SC, ST and the remark was made in reference to Yuzvendra Chahal. . In the conversation between Rohit Sharma and cricketer Yuvraj Singh on social media in the year 2021, jokingly addressed cricketers Yajuvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav with that word.
