Candidates will get financial assistance for preparation for competition examination

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has called for online applications for financial assistance for the preparation of examination competitions for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes.

Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has provided online applications for financial assistance in preparation of various competitive examinations to the aspiring candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes whose family income is less than 8 lakh per annum.

He said that the aspiring and eligible candidates can contact the District Employment Bureau, Kapurthala for more information. He asked the Employment Bureau to provide guidance to the applicants coming under this scheme on how to apply and avail the benefits of the scheme. It may be mentioned here that Ministry has called for applications for a total of 3500 seats, through which eligible candidates will be reimbursed for the cost of preparing for the competitive examination as per the applicable instructions. This scheme can be applied only on the prescribed portal www.socialjustice.gov.in/coaching.dosje.gov.in till 31-05-2022. The selected candidates in this scheme will also be given a stipend of Rs. 4000 / – per month as per the applicable instructions. Deputy Commissioner appealed to the students to come forward to avail maximum benefits under this scheme.
