With the graph of corona infection falling, the number of people traveling in public transport has started increasing.
After a month, the Transport Department has again started direct bus service from Jind to Patiala, Chandigarh, Gurugram on long routes. Due to the lockdown, the number of passengers was less, so the number of buses on inter-district routes was also less, but after the relaxation of the lockdown, now the number of passengers has started increasing again.
After a month, the bus has been started from Jind to Chandigarh at 6.40 am and 9.20 am. For Patiala, the bus will leave from Jind at 11:18 am. A bus has also been started for Gurugram.
After the lockdown on May 3 last month, buses from Jind to Chandigarh, Gurugram, Patiala, Yamunanagar, Pontasahib, Salasar, Jaipur, Sri Ganganagar and other inter-state buses were stopped. Business people should not face any problem in coming and going, so only a few buses were running. 20 to 30 passengers were being driven in the bus. The bus going to Chandigarh used to return to Kaithal, the bus to Rohtak to Gurugram and the bus to Patiala came back from Narwana. Now the number of passengers is increasing again as soon as the lockdown is relaxed, so along with the number of buses, long routes are also being opened.
