The deputy commissioner said that while vaccination camps are being organized at different places in the district related to Covid vaccination, teams are also providing vaccination to the eligible beneficiaries at different places in the district through mobile vans. She said that in this, Covid vaccination is being done every day of patients with serious diseases in the age group of 18-44 years in Government Senior Secondary School Bhangala, Vishwakarma Temple Sector 1 Talwara and Kesho Temple Hoshiarpur. Apart from this, vaccinations are being done of construction workers in the age group of 18 to 44, so all the eligible beneficiaries must get their vaccinations done.
Deputy Commissioner said that at present there are around 100 vaccination teams in the district which are vaccinating the eligible beneficiaries at different places. She said that on Saturday, a MEGA camp is being organized at the Service Club Hoshiarpur from 10 am to 4 pm to vaccinate the patients with serious diseases in the age group of 18-44. She said that the beneficiary of the concerned age group who had undergone vaccination in this camp would have to present their Aadhar card and proof related to their serious illness. She said that in this Mega camp, vaccination will be done on behalf of 10 vaccination teams of the Health Department.
Apneet Riyait said that positive patients of Covid-19 are being provided better health facilities in the hospitals of the district and there is no shortage of oxygen and medicines in the hospitals. She said that the district administration had received 20 oxygen concentrators, which would give a lot of benefit to Covid patients. She said that these oxygen concentrators will be sent to District Hospital Hoshiarpur and Civil Hospital Dasuha so that maximum number of patients can get their benefits. She appealed to the district residents to follow the instructions and health protocols issued by the administration seriously and said that only by taking precautions, we can win this war against Covid.
