The Livelihood Mission being run by the Punjab Government is proving to be a boon for the women of the villages. While various self help groups formed under this mission are running their livelihood from making masks to sewing and embroidery during the Kovid epidemic , Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Ajivika SHG. And Bibi Nanaki Ajivika SHG. Are being prepared by the Code, condiments, snacks, and crisp.
In District Barnala, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Tej Partap Singh Phoolka and under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Barnala (Development) Mr. Arun Jindal, 347 women’s self help groups have been set up in all the blocks .
In this regard Cluster Coordinator Priya Gupta said that a total of about 24 members including other groups from Talwandi have joined Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Ajivika SHG. And Bibi Nanaki Ajivika SHG. Are related to the occupation, the group is released from the last six months, and now they are grown in many efforts by income groups.
