Barnala district launches Yojana mobile app

Barnala district has launched Yojana mobile application bringing government services into the hands of people and providing greater accessibility.

 Launching the unique mobile application, Deputy Commissioner  Tej Pratap Singh Phoolka said that the NIC Barnala has come up with this mobile application. The District Informatics Officer (DIO)  Neeraj has designed this mobile application.

Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of ADC (General) Aditya Dechalwal in providing information for the application and that of DIO  Neeraj Kumar.

 It covers government schemes of education primary and secondary wing, rural development, health sector and social securities. It can be downloaded from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nic.dsm and from the website of Barnala district www.barnala.gov.in. Also, it covered the name of the scheme, department associated with it, eligibility, documents required, name, contact number and email address of nodal officers and others.

DIO  Neeraj added that the application shall also be soon available as an updated version on android play store. He added all departments’ schemes shall be gradually added to the application.
