AAP’s mega rally to be held at Bagha Purana

Aam Aadmi Party has announced to hold Kisan Maha Sammelan on March 21 in support of Kisan Andolan. The summit to be held at Bagha Purana in Punjab will be addressed by Delhi Chief Minister and National Convener of AAP Arvind Kejriwal. The announcement was made by AAP state president Bhagwant Mann, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Harpal Singh Cheema, AAP Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh, and co-in-charge Raghav Chadha at a conference here on Monday. The AAP leaders said that the Kisan Maha Sammelan at Bagha Purana would be attended by a large number of people including Aam Aadmi Party volunteers from all over the state. He said that the purpose of this convention would be to send a message to the Modi government at the Center to immediately repeal the black laws introduced for the farmers who were not arrogant. He said that preparations for the rally have been started. During this time, the party will be strengthened in Punjab and the traditional parties will be exposed. He said that while in power Congress, SAD and BJP had worked to ruin the farmers of Punjab but not for the welfare of the farmers. People now see hope only from the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that Aam Aadmi Party has been steadfast in supporting the farmers from day one. The party has given full support to the farmers’ struggle by supporting every call made by the farmers.
The AAP leaders said that Lohri was celebrated in favor of the farmers and copies of the Central Agriculture Act were burnt. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also convened a special session of the Delhi Assembly and tore up copies of the Union Agriculture Act to oppose the Modi government’s decision. AAP MPs Bhagwant Mann and Sanjay Singh opposed the black farming laws in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In addition, when the farmers reached the borders of Delhi and were agitating in the bitter cold, the Kejriwal government of Delhi provided all possible help by serving them day and night. On the instructions of Arvind Kejriwal, drinking water, toilets, hot water, langar, and many other services were provided. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Singh Kejriwal himself visited the AAP twice to see the facilities being provided by the Delhi government.
