The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia interacted with the traders, businessmen, industrialists and shopkeepers during a program held in Jalandhar on Wednesday; so that the industry of Punjab can be recognized at the global level and story of a new Punjab can be written. The traders, businessmen and industrialists belonging to various industries including travel-tourism and hospitality industry, leather industry, sports industry, transport industry and salons shared their problems and challenges with Manish Sisodia and raised the demand for strengthening the industry including their solution on the formation of the AAP government.

While replying to the questions of the traders and businessmen, Manish Sisodia said that industrial revolution will be brought in Punjab on the formation of the AAP government. He said that only if trade and business will increase in Punjab, employment will increase and the government’s treasury will also be filled. Only if friendly relations are formed between the government and the industry, Punjab will move forward on the path of development and the youth of Punjab will strengthen their home by staying close to their loved ones by avoiding going abroad and settling down.

Manish Sisodia, while addressing a question of a businessman related to the travel-tourism and hospitality industry, promised to give a global recognition to Punjab, especially by promoting tourism. He said that the land of five rivers would be developed as a tourist destination and promoted with the tagline ‘Jee Aaya Nu’. Sisodia said that the history-art and culture, geographical region, agriculture and various other vibrant characters of Punjab would not only give a unique identity to Punjab on the global map, but with honest and practical politics, Punjab would be taken to such a position that not the people of Punjab; but the people from abroad would like to come to Punjab.

He said that on the formation of the AAP government in Punjab, like Delhi, corruption will be eliminated, ‘inspector raj’ will be abolished and most importantly political and bureaucratic interference will be completely stopped. Sisodia said that all this is possible only when traders, businessmen, industrialists and shopkeepers will support the AAP. Apart from this, the AAP (Arvind Kejriwal) is the name of making possible; what has been impossible for other parties to do. Sisodia assured the traders-businessmen, industrialists and shopkeepers that once the AAP is given a chance, then the AAP will leave no stone unturned to take Punjab forward on the path of prosperity.
