4 snatchers arrested by Mohali Police, recovered 34 phones, one Activa

Mohali police arrested four persons, who used to snatch mobile phones from innocent people. The police also recovered 34 stolen mobile phones and a stolen Activa scooter from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep Pandey, Sandeep Thapa, both residents of Phase 1, Rajinder Prasad, a resident of Green Enclave in Daun village and Chetan, a resident of Mohali village. Sub Inspector Shivdeep Brar, SHO of Phase 1 police station said, “The gang of snatchers was active in various areas of Mohali. They had committed several thefts and snatchings. A case has been registered against them under Sections 379-B, 411 and 201 of the IPC. Further investigation is on.”
