According to eyewitness Davinderpal alias Bittu, a 7/8 year old girl was reportedly raped in Sri Muktsar Sahib today at around 5:00 pm when he was going to his house for lunch from his shop He heard some screams in the middle of the bushes in a deserted place. When he looked in the bushes, he saw a boy who was about 35 years old trying to take a girl and force her.
And caught the boy and who gave his name as Suraj who is a resident of K. Kotli Road informed the city police and the police came on the spot and apprehended the boy and admitted the girl to the civil hospital.
